1. Sandile Shezi

Sandile Shezi

Sandile Shezi is a young, South African Entrepreneur; The founder and CEO of Global Forex Institute and several other businesses. Mr Shezi was born on the 17 December 1991 in a township called Umlazi in Durban, KZN.  He was raised together with his younger sister by both parents whose occupations were educators. Sandile Shezi Matriculated from George Campbell technical high school in Durban in 2009 .He then went on to study civil engineering at the Durban University of Technology. He now owns and operates his own businesses and gives back to the community through the Sandile Shezi foundation.

2. Stephen Manzini

Stephen Manzini is the Founder and MD of Soweto Fashion Week

Stephen is an entrepreneur who sees opportunities where others seem not to. He is the Founder of Soweto Fashion Week, which is produced by Jericho Events. He currently owns a Recycling Services and Technology company. An entrepreneur at heart, Stephen believes his desire to learn more and grow through filling gaps he sees in the market comes from his father, who was also an entrepreneur.  Soweto Fashion Week: In His Own Words: “We will Dominate the fashion industry and its only a matter of Time, We are currently on two continents watch the space”

3. Bonolo Mataboge

Bonolo Mataboge

She’s just 21 years old but Bonolo Mataboge is taking the fashion world by storm. Mataboge grew up knowing that she wanted to be a fashion designer but knew her designs needed to be different. It was only later that she found a gap in the market and decided to create a brand dedicated to cater for fuller figured women. It was at that exact moment that ‘AfriBlossom’ was born. Afriblossom is an afrinique-chic clothing range designed specifically for women with curves (size 34 to 50), with a design aesthetic influenced by the continent and geometric and organic shapes that accentuate the female figure. Mataboge suffers from a medical condition called Blount’s Disease (a growth disorder of the shin bone that causes the lower leg to grow at an inward angle) but despite this she has celebrated successes that designers twice her age haven’t managed to achieve yet. Her passion and dedication shows that Bonolo is a force to be reckoned.

4. Mbuyiseni Dlozi

mBuyiseni Dlozi

Mbuyiseni Dlozi also popular known as the people’s bae was born in 1985 and grew up in Everton in the Vaal area of Gauteng. He is the youngest member of the Economic Freedom Fighters and the National Spokesperson for the party. Ndlozi is also a PhD student in Political Sociology at the University of Witwatersrand.

5. Nompendulo Mkhatshwa

Nompendulo Mkhatshwa

Nompendulo Mkhatshwa, the incoming Student Representative Council President at Wits University, was one of the women at the forefront of the first student uprising at the university. As Wits University’s  SRC President, Nompendulo Mkhatshwa was committed to the fight against injustice and inequality.
