Lamiez Holworthy Celebrates Being the Cover Star of A Major Magazine’s Legacy and Breast Cancer Awareness Issue

Lamiez Holworthy Celebrates Being the Cover Star of A Major Magazine’s Legacy and Breast Cancer Awareness Issue. The past couple of weeks have been quite eventful in the life of Lamiez Holworthy. She was recently hospitalized due to endometriosis complications. Lamiez also had to deal with cyber bullying during this trying time. She is now back recovering, and bagged a cover star gig in a leading magazine.
“It’s so crazy how one of my last posts on Instagram was a statement from my management announcing my hospitalization for what was the scariest and most painful time of my life and today whilst healing, I personally get to announce that I’m the Cover star for the Legacy and Breast cancer awareness Issue which also marks 70 years of @bona_mag – a magazine established in the 1950s which has amplified and shined light on Black Excellence,” Lamiez said.
After TWENTY days of bed rest and taking it easy (hospital included) I think it’s safe to say I’m back by God’s grace, the love and support from my friends and family and your prayers which I do not take for granted.
I wasn’t ready for your testaments under my last post but it warmed my heart that you were all so honest and vulnerable- that I created a safe space for us all to just be,learn, heal and fix each other’s crowns. ❤️
Here’s to working smarter and not harder 🙈
My name is Lamiez Holworthy and not only am I warrior,I am a woman- a black woman and that is my armour. One that makes me unstoppable, untouchable and powerful. Not because I am perfect but because I celebrate, learn and grow from those very imperfections that make me human.
My son’s reaction to seeing his mama on a cover in stores has been so special to witness and that? That is why I continue to work and fight for my voice to be heard. So that someday when I am no longer here,my legacy and all that I work so hard to build is one he can be proud of. 🥺❤️
