She makes sure she shares a moving stories on their special days. This time around the spotlight is on her last born Bontle Kumalo, who is turning 12.
As per norm the former beauty queen and TV mogul shared a video, showing off how Bontle has grown over the years. On the caption, Bassie, sang her daughter’s praises, and highlighted some of her outstanding qualities. She always wished her nothing but the best in life. What moved her online family even more, is sharing her emotions immediately after giving birth. The family didn’t know Bontle’s gender, and the doctor revealed that it was a girl. Basetsana, her husband Romeo, and sister Johanna, all broke down in tears, happy for the additional family member.

So let me tell you a story, when I was pregnant with you, I didn’t find out if we were having a boy or a girl. I was just blessed to be carrying life in me. On the day of your birth, Papa and Mama Niko @johanna.makgalemele who were always there when I gave birth… after a few seconds that you were born, Mama Niko asks the doctor..”so doctor tell us, is it a boy or a girl?” The answer came “it’s a girl.” I couldn’t stop crying. We were all crying. Holding you for the first time, my life changed forever.
You have brought so much joy into our lives. Your brother’s doted over you from the day you were born. The sunshine of our lives. Watching you grow and come into your own is so beautiful to witness. I love your inquiring mind, your zeal for life, your courageous spirit, your confidence. I’m in awe of you, how you move in the world. You are brave and unafraid. You are compassionate, kind, generous, caring and giving. All these traits my child will stand you in good stead in life.
You are born for greatness. You are smart, diligent, a hard worker. My style queen who picks my outfits, matching bags and accessories. I know just how much God loves me to have blessed me with the gift of your life. I’m such a fan of you.
