Anele Mdoda Celebrates Her 1st Personal Assistant As He Graduates. One thing about Anele Mdoda, she is good at making her workers feel like family. Many remember her former house helper Florence, who she did a lot for. She once bought Florence a car, traveled the world with her, and promoted her to become a personal assistant.
The multi-award winning media personality and entrepreneur is now celebrating another one of her workers. This time around the focus is on her former personal assistant Lungani Gumede. Gumede has just graduated at GIBS Business School, making Anele all proud. This is because at some point she encouraged him to spread his wings and create a better future for himself.
“I think I’ve finally touched what it must feel like to be those grandparents,parents,families who witness the first, the first to step into a world they themselves were never raised to imagine.
Today, I watched my first PA walk across that stage at GIBS Business School and claim a future that is entirely his. And it broke me open in the most beautiful way.
I’ve always said to him, “Chap, you can’t be my PA forever, because that would only serve me. What will serve you?”
He made the brave call to choose himself, and mine was simply to stand beside him and support the becoming.
