Boikanyo Botlhale Celebrates Her Mother Bagging A PhD. For quite some time, Botlhale and Mumsy Boikanyo have been serving us premium content. The mother and daughter are always lighting up social media with their brand partnerships. They work as a duo for brands like Maybelline Africa, go on vacations together, and celebrate each other’s wins.
Botlhale got to be famous after becoming the first winner of SA Got Talent, where she showcased her talent as a poet. She continued with her poetry performing at schools, churches, weddings and at government-sponsored events. Botlhale is also a talented actress, and one of her biggest roles was playing Omphile in Scandal!. Two years ago, she graduated from her Mandela Washington Fellowship 2024 course.
Although Botlhale is the one who is more of a celebrity, her mom Mumsy is also holding her own in the industry. Her social media followers are growing, proof that her content is fresh and relatable. Another thing about her, she is big on education, something that runs in the family. Mumsy just bagged a PhD, officially earning the Dr title. To celebrate the milestone, her daughter Botlhale surprised her with an intimate celebration.
