Applications Open for the BANKSETA Start Your Biz Programme. Are you an aspiring entrepreneur within the Matjhabeng Local Municipality in Free State? The BANKSETA presents the Start Your Biz Programme to support entrepreneurs in launching and formalising their ventures.

This Programme Is Designed to Support Emerging Entrepreneurs By Providing:

• Business skills training
• Entrepreneurship development guidance through group business advisory
• Practical tools to refine and test business ideas
• Exposure to entrepreneurial networks

Before You Begin, Please Ensure That You:

• Are a South African citizen over the age of 18
• Have completed Matric and can provide proof
• Are formally self-employed with all reference to unemployed going forward in this application meaning not employed by an organization that does not belong to you i.e. self-employed
• Are currently involved in an income-generating activity or side hustle that will allow you to attend in-person training sessions
• Are based in the Free State, Matjhabeng Local Municipality

Please Have These Documents Ready Before You Begin:

• A certified copy of their ID
• Proof of residential address
• Matric Certificate
• Unemployment declaration form. Download template below:

Please Note:

• Only a fully complete application will be verified as part of the application process.
• The programme will be delivered in person, and participants will be responsible for their own travel costs to and from the venue.
• Please note that no stipend will be provided.
