Actress Nqobile Nunu Khumalo Takes Us Through All the Award Nominations and Wins She Has Bagged. It’s always heartwarming seeing talented people get their flowers while they can still smell them. One such is Nqobile Khumalo, who constantly gets rewarded for her great job in the creative arts space.
The multi-award winning actress made her television debut in the guest starring role of Cindy on the first season of the Mzansi Magic soap opera isiBaya, in 2013. The following year she bagged a recurring role as Nhlanhla, in the SABC1 youth drama series Loxion Lyric. Also in the same year, Nunu starred as Relebogile “Riri” Diholo, a community health worker, in the 12th season of the SABC1 youth drama series Soul City. In early 2015 she guest starred on the third season of the Mzansi Magic drama series Rockville. In 2017, Nunu joined the cast of the e.tv soapie Scandal! in the recurring role of Hlengiwe.
Other shows she starred in include Broken Vows, The Herd, Uncovered, High Rollers, Nqobile, Fatal Seduction, Komkhulu among so many others. How cool is it that Nqobile has received awards and nominations for some of these roles! Some of the recognition even comes from outside the shores of South Africa.
