It’s A Full Circle Moment for Salamina Mosese As She Slays the Soul City Institute’s 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner Hosting Duties. It’s always heartwarming to see personalities who have been in the industry for decades, still get recognized. One such is Salamina Mosese, who is still booked and busy.

The multi award winning actress, producer and author was recently the Programme Director at the Soul City Institute’s 30th Anniversary Gala dinner. This was a special one for Salamina, who got her first job on Soul Buddyz as a 13 year-old.

It’s not often that work, memory, and purpose collide so beautifully. Being the Programme Director at the Soul City Institute’s 30th Anniversary Gala dinner was one of those rare moments. 🙏🏾🫶🏾

My first TV job at 13 was on Soul Buddyz, so standing on the stage 27 years later, felt like returning to the place where my journey truly began. A reminder of why I fell in love with storytelling and how powerful it can be when it’s used for impact

Salamina also noted one of the highlights being giving flowers to the veteran Lillian Dube. She was her on-screen aunt and now real-life industry granny. She remains grateful for the lessons Mam’ Lillian taught her over the years. Salamina also expresses gratitude to her husband Tshepo ‘Howza’ Mosese. She also celebrated Kgomotso Matsunyane for the amazing job she does in the industry.

And to my husband, @howza_sa, thank you for understanding what this night meant to me and for always cheering me on.

@motsomatsu was great seeing you too. You were one of the first black women I saw in the early days, who had a production company. A true legend in my eyes. An inspiration then, and now. 🙏🏾
