- The bursary is open to future or current university students who require study support in the scares and critical skills fields.
- Our bursaries are awarded annually to top-performing learners under the age of 25 years, pursuing qualifications that align with Transnet’s strategic objectives.
Bursary Requirements
Current/completed Grade12 learnersSouth African citizens who have obtained a minimum of Level 5 (60% and above) in their mid-year results/Grade 12 certificate in English and relevant subjects in line with the requirements of the following area of study:
- National Diploma/BSc in Computer Science.
- National Diploma/BSc in Geographical Information Systems.
- National Diploma/BSc in Information Systems.
- National Diploma/BSc in Environmental Science.
- National Diploma/BSc in Data Sciences.
- National Diploma/BCom in Accounting Science.
Current tertiary students – South African citizens who are studying towards the following area of study:
- National Diploma/BSc in Computer Science.
- National Diploma/BSc in Geographical Information Systems.
- National Diploma/BSc in Information Systems.
- National Diploma/BSc in Environmental Science.
- National Diploma/BSc in Data Sciences.
- National Diploma/BCom in Accounting Science.
