“You Don’t Know What’s Coming,” Gayton McKenzie Warns Against Threats Of Him Being Removed As Minister

“You Don’t Know What’s Coming,” Gayton McKenzie Warns Against Threats Of Him Being Removed As Minister. He is one minister who usually trends on both social and mainstream media. This time around though, Gayton McKenzie is not making news for his passion as a minister, but he is being accused of being racist.
It all started when he condemned vile and repugnant remarks directed toward the Coloured community by the Open Chats podcast. The hosts engaged in despicable stereotyping of coloured people, saying they engage in sexual activity with their siblings. They also went on to describe coloured people as “crazy”. Patriotic Alliance (PA) president, McKenzie, called on all the lawyers in the party to compile a report on the action that they will take against the statements. He said people must not be allowed to be comfortable enough to speak derogatory statements against coloureds.
Immediately after that, social media users dug out McKenzie’s old tweets, which seemed racist, and spoke lowly of women. Since then, political parties, leaders, celebrities and the public have called on for the immediate resignation of McKenzie.
McKenzie is not taking this lying down though, he is busy defending himself on social media platforms. He vehemently denies being racist, but took accountability on some disturbing stuff he used to post back in the day. In one tweet, the political leader stated that he cannot be racist because his mother was black and he has children with a black woman. McKenzie believes this is a political set up from the EFF, and other organizations.
“I’m the son of a black woman, I have children with a black woman. I fought my whole life for same treatment between black and coloured ppl because we fought same struggle. I call out racism, I generally always included myself when speaking about black issues,” he said.
On threats that he should be removed as a minister, Gayton insinuates that something big will happen.
