Miss South Africa Organization Announces the Postponement of the Pageant. Normally by this time, the Miss South Africa Top 10 finalists have been announced. This year, though, things are a bit different, as nothing much has been done regarding the pageant.

In April 2025, entries for Miss South Africa 2025 opened. This year came with less restrictions, giving many ladies to have the opportunity to wear the prestigious crown. Marital status, parental status, educational status, tattoos, piercings, being a transgender woman, and other factors were not an issue. The organization stated that they were not about perfection, but about embracing your colors, celebrating contestants’ authenticity, while they step onto the grandest stage as themselves.

Ladies all over South Africa heeded the call and submitted their audition tapes. Even well know personalities, decided to try their luck this year. Among them are reality show stars Nsuku Mabunda and Neo Sibiya, actresses Nirvana Nokwe and Luyanda Zuma as well as Bohang Moeko’s wife, Shantal. Every lady gave it their all, giving u hope that this year, the pageant was going to be massive.

Sadly months went by without the Top 35 announcement. Nothing was said on the social media pages of Miss South Africa, despite the mounting questions. Recently the organization shocked many when it announced Stephanie Weil’s exit as CEO. Miss SA organization then stated that they are making good progress with preparations for the highly anticipated contest. They also added that it’s going to be a huge success.

On to more major announcements, Miss SA organization, has revealed that they have postponed the pageant from August to a letter date this year. This is to align with international and other global pageants.
