Generations: The Legacy Beefs Up It’s Cast With Amazing Talent and Here Are Their Roles. It’s always great to see some of the most talented individuals continue to get work. When the shows they starred in comes to an end, the future looks gloomy. Thanks to Generations: The Legacy and other shows, these actors get absorbed back in the industry.

The SABC1 soapie, has just announced the new faces joining them. They are Tina Mnumzana, who played Mam’ Flora in The River, Sannah Mchunu from Gomora, Nozuko Ntshangase from Diep City, as well as the veteran Phillip Tipo.

Tina Mnumuza

Tinah joins the award-winning soapie as Ausi Nokwazi Lukhozi, an impulsive and spontaneous character. Anything goes with her. Reckless but trying to get things together. She was a pretty girl, but she has abused her body. Loyal to the streets, loyal to anyone who gives her money. Talkative. Opinionated. Wrong or right, she’s always right. She can sell anything. Persuasive. Never take no for an answer. She ignores things she doesn’t like, like she didn’t hear it. She loves everyone, but it depends on what she gets from you. She’s street-smart. She knows no boundaries. She can start a conversation with anyone.

Sanna Mchunu

The multi-award winning actress takes on the complex role of Sis’Phindi MaNxumalo, a woman of quiet strength and hidden turmoil. Modest and kind, Phindi conceals her guilt and shame behind a protective facade, revealing a sharp edge when provoked. Sanna makes her highly anticipated debut on July 23.

Nozuko Ntshangase

The talented actress joins the show, playing the role of Vuyelwa Nxumalo. Vuyelwa is smart. She is Pushy and a straight talker. The private school taught since Grade One and has never been without opportunities. She is hard-working and wants those around her to do the same. Desperate to make it big, make a big name for herself before 30. She’s empathetic but tries to fight against it because this is a dog-eat-dog world. Nozuko is adorable, and it is easy to mistake her for naïve until she surprises you. She’s methodical and hates adapting. A great planner, non-experimental unless pushed. She wants to have an investigative journalistic show on TV, an international platform. MM Media is a step closer but not a destination.

Philip Tipo Tindisa

The veteran actor portrays Donald Brave, a hardened survivor shaped by life’s relentless challenges. Fresh from the mines as a zama-zama, Donald is bitter and cunning, yet he harbours a compassionate core. With minimal formal education, his wisdom stems from hardship, and while skilled with guns, he fears his potential for violence. Donald’s interesting story begins on July 11.
