Thembi Seete Expresses Gratitude Over Boom Shaka Receiving A Major Award. Boom Shaka remains one of the best musical groups to come out of this country. The group made out of Thembi Seete, Theo Hlengethwa and Junior has stood the test of time. Despite losing their lead vocalist Lebo Mathosa in 2006, Boom Shaka is still making waves.

Boom Shaka also gets the right recognition in the industry. Every now and the trio receive awards to recognize their contribution to the music industry. They recently bagged yet another award, at the Urban Music Awards. Boom Shaka was awarded the UMA Icon Award, to mark their 30-year journey.
