ICYMI! Kea Leburu Joins Muvhango
ICYMI! Kea Leburu Joins Muvhango. One thing about Muvhango, it keeps on beefing its cast with talent. This is probably why it is one of the few shows that have stood the test of time. Just recently former Generations star Kagiso Rakosa made an appearance on Muvhango. This season alone, we have also seen the introduction of such legends like Leleti Khumalo, who plays Dr Nonhlanhla Ximba.
The show also brought back some familiar faces to reprise their roles. They are Liteboho Molise, Lebo Tisane, Wiseman Zitha and Gugulethu Mzobe.
The latest edition to the SABC2 drama is Keamogetswe Trudy Leburu. The talented actress has been cast as Roxy, a character that will do anything for a quick buck. Roxy sells her body, to maintain herself as well as look after the kids left after her care. By the look of things, the character is going to bring a different kind of drama in Muvhango.
“Hello Guys 😄❤️
Here’s the moment I’ve been waiting for …
Catch your girl from tonight as Roxy on @muvhangosa sabc2 @21:00 ✨,” Kea announced.
Kea was discovered in 2013, and landed a cameo role on the e.tv soapie Rhythm City. This marked her screen acting debut. Many however, know Kea as for her role as Bontle on the SABC1 educational drama Skeem Saam. Those who follow the show, know just how much of a character Bontle is. She was also an extra on the SABC1 soapie Generations and the Mzansi Magic soapie Zabalaza.
In 2017 Kea played the recurring role of Lily on the SABC2 telenovela Keeping Score, replacing Lecian Macpherson in the role. In 2018 she had a guest starring role in the season finale of the 1Magic drama series Unmarried. We are confident that she is going to absolutely kill the Roxy role.
