Chidimma Adetshina Appointed as Brand Ambassador of Enugu State In Nigeria. She has gone from an unwanted Miss South Africa Top 10 finalist, to being a respected Miss Universe Nigeria in just a few months. Chidimma Adetshina‘ s life has made a 180 degree turn, in a way that she didn’t even expect.
Barely a week before Miss SA 2024 finale, the beauty queen announced that she was withdrawing from the beauty pageant. This came after the backlash she received pertaining to her Nigerian roots.
Instead of feeling sorry for herself, and drowning in depression, she entered another major pageant. Chidimma received an invitation from the Silverbird Group who are the organizers of the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant. She beat the odds, when she walked away with the crown. This means that she will represent Nigeria at Miss Universe, to be held later this year.
Since her crowning, Chidimma has been received well by the masses. She also does a lot of charity work, around the country. Over the weekend it was her much anticipated Homecoming event at Enugu state, Nigeria. The community came to welcome and celebrate their queen. On more great new, Enugu state governor, Ndubisi Mbah, appointed her the ambassador of Enugu. The governor stated tht Chidimma is an indigene of Amurri, Nkanu West LGA, and embodies the resilience and determination that define Ndi Enugu.
“I received the honour of being in the presence of the Governor of Enugu state, Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah. Upon my home coming I was received and appointed as the brand ambassador of Enugu State 🥹🙏🏽🇳🇬 I cannot express my gratitude for all the great things I have achieved in my fathers land. Again … Nigeria 🇳🇬❤️THANK YOU for picking me up when I was on my knees .🙏🏽🥹,” Chidimma said.
