Uthando Nes’Thembu Back for Season 7. Mzansi’s famous polygamous family is back. The Mselekus are definitely the masters of local reality shows, as their hit show Uthando Nes’thembu will soon be on air for season seven.
The first episode of Uthando Nes’thembu aired back in May 2017. In the show, businessman, TV personality, reality show star and author Musa Mseleku allows viewers into his polygamous marriage to four women. Together with their kids, Musa, MaCele, MaYeni MaKhumalo and MaNgwabe show viewers how they navigate tradition in a modern world.
Like any other family, the Mselekus have their ups and downs. There are disagreements here and there, an the family solve them before they escalate. Some of the issues that the family has dealt with include Musa suggesting a 5th wife, him also wanting more kids, preferably sons, the wives not always getting along, among other things. It’s heartwarming to see the family back as one unit despite challenges.
This season, we might see Musa embrace being a grandfather more, as he recently welcomed two grandsons. His son Mpumelelo Mseleku might also bring some fresh content, as he also practices polygamy himself. This is definitely a must watch season.
