Zenzelisphesihle Sparky Xulu Said to Be Leaving My Brother’s Keeper. The new Mzansi Magic telenovela is quickly cementing it’s position in the industry. My Brother’s Keeper has come through with a star studded cast, and a very interesting storyline.
So far My Brother’s Keeper has let us in the live of Mshengu. The telenovela tells the story of his son Nqubeko, played by the multi-award winning Wiseman Mcube. He is the headstrong and overambitious son of a mistress who is tired of being side-lined by his father. Nqubeko decides to break the rules of ‘ukungena’ by going after his brother’s widow, Fakazile played by Zola Nombona. Fakazile holds the controlling power to the Shabalala family empire. Sadly for Nqubeko, his late brother’s widow, ended up being married to his youngest brother, Thuthuka, played by Zenzelisphesihle Sparky Xulu.
It goes without saying that Fakazile and Thuthuka are not compatible, nor do they love each other like that. But Mshengu insists the two make it work, as tradition has to be followed. Fakazile and Nqubeko on the other hand continue with their secretive affair. Thuthuka is also continuing with his life of parties and women.
As the storyline gets more interesting, viewers get to hear the sad news of Thuthuka’s departure. Although the man behind the character hasn’t said anything, entertainment blogger, Jabulani Macdonald has let the cat out of the bag. He recently revealed that one of Mshengu’s sons is going to be killed by his own brother. In a new update, Jabu shared that Sparky’s storyline as Thuthuka is coming to an end.
