National Heritage Council Funding Call-Out. The National Heritage Council, an entity of the Department of Sport, Arts & Culture, makes funding available to communities on an annual basis. The National Heritage Council is calling for heritage projects that celebrate and protect our diverse cultural treasures.

Whether it’s the preservation of historic landmarks, the documentation of oral traditions, or the promotion of indigenous crafts, your project could make a significant impact.
The Following Business Formations are Invited to Apply:
- Educational/Academic Institutions participating in heritage projects;
- Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs)
- Non-Profit Companies (NPCs);
- Community Based Organization (CBOs);
- Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs); Associations;
- Foundations;
- Community Trusts (NB: family Trusts excluded);
- Traditional Councils;
- Individuals who are involved in heritage research projects and have partnered with a qualifying; entity/organization
