Purpose

Collating of information and investigation of variances against the budget in preparation of the monthly management reports

Outputs

• Assist Management Accountant with compilation and consolidation of annual operating budgets
• Assist Management Accountant with month end reporting processes, month end reporting and any other ad-hoc requirements
• Assist capital management Accountant with variance analysis of operating expenditure and revenue
• Conduct financial evaluation of OPEX Tender Evaluations
• Taking of minutes and preparation of reports, presentations, agendas and other memoranda and administrative requirements

Qualification

B.Com (or equivalent business degree) with Majors in Accounting and / or Finance

Competencies

• Strong numerical skills
• Analytical and interpretive skills
• Report writing skills
• Computer literate – Excel skills (an advantage)
