Zanele Potelwa Bags A Major Hosting Gig As Netball World Cup Kick-Starts. It is such a beautiful feeling when you get a gig not just for the sake of securing the bag. When you to works on a project that is close to your heart, the joy is out of this world.
One lucky person to be in that position is Zanele Potelwa. Most people who know the media personality, understand just how much she loves Netball. It is literally her favorite sport. Zanele recently joined SABC Sport as a presenter for its new Netball World Cup show. She will host Phakama, a ‘netball-centric’ positioned to become a household name on a Sunday afternoon. The programme will focus entirely on netball and South Africa as the host nation. The magazine show will inspire the youth and promote one of South Africa’s biggest women’s sporting events in 2023 the Netball World Cup in Cape Town.

Thank you God,” Zanele gushed over her cool gig.
Although we are only halfway into the year, Zanele is claiming it as hers. She, along with her producer and co-host, were nominated at the 2023 Radio Awards. A couple of days back, she MC’d Barbie movie premier in Johannesburg. Zanele has also hosted events such as the GenNextAwards, and other major events by brands such as Disney, Spar and Sorbet. Last year, she was a red carpet host for the South African Music Awards and the inaugural SA Amapiano Awards. She was also a black carpet host for the Metro FM Music Awards 2023.
Her amazing work does not go unrecognized. She recently became honored as a Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans inductee. Zanele thanked God and Jesus, for her recognition.
