A lot happened last season from Zandile getting out of jail to Qhawe Zulu meeting the love of his life Dr Naledi Montsho.
A year ago, Showmax commissioned three seasons of 40 episodes each, inspired by Dudu’s books Hlomu the Wife, Zandile the Resolute, and Naledi His Love respectively. The books follow the lives of the eight Zulu brothers, a formidable crime family, through the eyes of the wives they marry. So far two seasons have aired, winning fans all over the country and beyond.
Season 3 of The Wife, which will premier this coming Thursday is based on the third novel called Naledi. This season will focus more on Qhawe and Naledi’s love. With Naledi missing and the Zulu brothers facing the heat, this will be the most explosive season yet.
Over the weekend, the new season was launched in style with cast members having an interactive session elaborating on what we can expect. Everyone looked flawless on the rec carpet, making all of us anticipate the upcoming season even more.
Season 3 of The Wife will be airing on the 10th November 2022.
