Unathi Labelled a Hypocrite Over The Comments She Made On Idols SA Contestant S’22kile. The job done by Idols SA judges Unathi and Randal, is not an easy one. The show is loved by many in SA and beyond, hence any criticism they make, is not going to sit well with some people. Again, if they applaud a particular contestant, the judges are labelled as being biased.
Currently trending on social media is Unathi, whose comments on S’22kile real name, Sthuthukile Langa left a lot of people with a bitter taste in their mouths. S’22kile was performing the song of the South African popular musician and Idols SA season 8 contestant; Rethabile Khumalo, ‘Ntyilo-Ntyilo‘. What Unathi didn’t like about the performance is that S’22kile didn’t sing the exact lyrics of the hit song. The song goes by “Ntyilo Ntyilo njengenyoni ndiyantyiloza…” but S’22kile was like, “Ntshilo Ntshilo njengenyoni Ndiyantshiloza“.
After S’22kile, sang it went without saying that Unathi was not impressed. The Idols SA judge, media personality and singer said it point blank, that she really didn’t enjoy the performance. She called out S’thuthukile for not singing the lyrics correctly, something that did not sit well with many viewers. Matters worse, Unathi herself, did not speak Sesotho correctly when she gave another contestant Karabo, feedback. This angered viewers and fans of SS;22kile even more.
