Nathaniel Junior Singo Addresses Speculations That He Is Leaving Generations: The Legacy. Information is always great when you get it from the horses mouth. There has been news doing the rounds that Nathaniel Junior Singo is leaving Generations: The Legacy, and finally he addresses them.
On the SABC1 hit soapie, Nathaniel plays Mpho Phakade, a young man who is always in trouble, no matter how hard he tries to make something out of his life. The talented actor debuted as a street kid who lived from hand to mouth and robbing off people. He saw his fortunes change when he was adopted by then Tshidi Phakade and her gangster husband Kumkani “Gadaffi” Phakade. The separation of the two however, took a toll on Mpho who had to be independent.
Looking at the current storyline, many assumed that the end of Mpho will be when his father Gadaffi kills him after finding him as a sellout. Others concluded that Mavusana was the one going to put the bullet in Mpho’s head after being framed. This was then going to be the end of the character, after it has been on air for four years.
Well, the man behind the character has set matters straight, and we are happy for that. Nathaniel stated that he has not resigned form Generations: The Legacy, and assured his fans to not to worry. Should he leave the show, Nathaniel promised he will be open about it.
“I deliberately waited for tonight’s episode to confirm that as far as I, ( Nathaniel Junior Oliphant aka Junior Singo) am aware, I have not resigned from #GenerationsTheLegacy Worry not, fam we still together. If that changes, I will drop the scoop right here,” Nathaniel said.
