SA Celebs Who Are Already Getting The Covid-19 Vaccine. A few days ago, the government was announced that people who are aged between 35-49 are now eligible for vaccine. Acting health minister Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane has announced a major boost to South Africa’s Covid-19 vaccination plans, with vaccines now being made available to more age groups and on weekends.
As of 14th July, those 35 and upwards years are now eligible to register for a vaccine. This age group can start receiving the jab from 1st August 2021. A number of our celebrities headed the call, and registered for the vaccine. The likes of Florence Masebe, Nokuthula Mavuso, Portia Gumede, Phaṱhu Makwarela and so many others immediately took to the app to register. They also encouraged others to do so.
On more great news, Momentum has decided to speed things up, and made walk-in arrangements for those who want to get vaccinated ASAP. Thula Sindi and Kgomotso Christopher are among those who took advantage of this arrangement. As we speak the two have already received their first jab, and they are excitedly waiting to get their second shots.
