Hulisani Ravele Grateful That Her Business Has Not Been Affected By The Looting Incidents. Small, medium and big business owners are crying after thousands of people looted malls, shopping complexes and spaza shops. These looting incidents took place mainly in Kwazulu Natal and Gauteng. Some business owners like Lucky Lekgwathi and Maps Maponyane had no choice but to close down their entities.
There were some malls, though which were not affected thanks to the community. Hulisani Ravele is among the lucky entrepreneurs whose businesses were not looted. The media personality and actress has always been business minded. In 2018, Hulisani launched the online talk show that she called, The Minute With Hulisani Ravel.
That same year she ventured into another business opportunity, Studio MoMa, which is a grooming boutique that caters to both women and men. Studio MoMa was founded in March 2017 by Mpho Sedibe who then partnered with Boipelo Nkadimeng and Hulisani decided to buy in as well.
Hulisani then went on to collaborate with PDesignsSA to launch The Muofhe Collection. This collection is very eye-catching and is made using bold colored material and designs that are inspired by the Tshivenda culture. They sell a variety of handbags from pocket bags to sling bags, laptop bags and even sunglasses cases.
As a lot of business owners were hit by looting, Hulisani is grateful that her business is still standing. She expressed gratitude to the community of Pimville and Klipspruit who did all they could to chase looters away.
“To the community of Pimville & Klipspruit, as an owner of a small business in the area, thank you. The fear & anxiety over the last few days, not only as a citizen but as an entrepreneur as well, waiting to be hit, has been crippling. Thank you for protecting and saving us.
