Sad Note! Bob Mabena Loses His Grandmother To Covid-19. As the number of those infected sky rockets, there is a significant rise on those affected. Now almost everyone knows someone who has been diagnosed or died from coronavirus.

Celebrities like Tbo Touch, Rosie Motene and Masasa Mbangeni have also come forth about loved ones who have Covi9-19. The latest celebrity to have a loved one die from Covid-19 is Bob Mabena. The veteran radio personality lost his grandmother this past week after contracting the disease whilst admitted in hospital.

Bob was responding to one tweep who lost his mother from the virus. From his tweet it looks like this is one death that could have been avoided had the hospital staff been more careful. Bob shares the same sentiments with the tweep because his grandmother caught the virus when she was in hopital for something different.

“So sad for your loss Ntando. Your experience is almost the same with my grandmother this past week. She contracted Covid in a hospital whilst going in for a lung infection. Within 3 days, she was gone. The hospitals aren’t ready,” he said.
