“I Lost My Mother, My Father Disappeared,” Connie Chiume’ Daughter Opens Up About Challenges. It has been almost two years since the passing away of legendary actress Connie Chiume. To her children, it is even more painful as they lost a loving mother. They also have to deal with more challenges as life deals them, the hardest of blows.

Mama Connie’s daughter, Nothando Mabuza constantly opens up about her struggles, since her mother’s passing. The two did almost everything together as mother and daughter. Among other things, they held some workshops around the country, nurturing upcoming talent. Now life is not easy for Nothando, and she misses everything that her mother was to her.

The actress has just opened up about another pain. She shared that life hasn’t been easy, more so since he father has disappeared. Noluthando has thus asked people to go easy on her, as she navigates through her challenges. She also asked for kindness, because people are going through the most out there.

I don’t know what you all see or think, but it’s not all roses. It hasn’t been for a while now.

Sometimes we judge so easily, thinking “if I were her, I’d do it better” or “I’d handle things differently.” But the truth is, you don’t know the weight someone is carrying.

I lost my mother. My father disappeared. The person I thought I would build a life with played me before, during and after the fact. And for a long time, I sat in that space of feeling lost and completely alone.

So please… give me time. I’m still learning myself, still healing, still trying to find my way again.

And more than anything, be mindful of your words when someone is going through a lot. You never really know how close someone might be to the edge… and your words could be the thing that pushes them over
,” Nothando said.
