Unathi Expresses Gratitude Over Lifetime Achievement Award. Unathi Nkayi is one of the outstanding stars who got recognized at the Icons of Africa Awards 2026 held recently. She was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The veteran media personality and musician was honored for her amazing radio work that she has done since 1997. She is best known for hosting shows on youth station YFM, Metro FM, and Kaya. After exiting Kaya in 2022, Unathi joined STAR 91.9 FM for the All Star Drive with Justin Toerien. A year ago, she launched her own independent radio station, 938 FM alongside DJ Fresh and other industry legends. Almost three decades in, Unathi gets to shine with a lifetime achievement award.
