“Switching Lanes This Radio Year,” Karabo Ntshweng Welcomes New Journey. The radio reshuffles are upon us, as we witness changes in our local radio stations. Some radio personalities like Thato Mokoena‘s contracts came to an end, whereas the likes of Siyabonga “Scoop” Ngwekazi, Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena and Shimza got new radio homes.
5FM has not been left with the reshuffle. The new changes have seen Roger Goode, Stephanie Be and Leah Jazz exit the station. Harrison Mkhize has been unveiled as the host of ‘The Sunday Social Club on 5’ on Sundays between 10h00 and 14h00. Karabo Ntshweng who joined the station in June 2020, is also making a massive change. The talented media personality presented a breakfast show called Early Mornings With Karabo. Karabo has now bagged a prime time slot with 5FM, where she will host 5 Mid Mornings with Karabo. The show blends music, conversation and high-energy audience interaction – reflecting the fast-paced lives of young professionals and students navigating modern life in real time. 5 Mid Mornings with Karabo will start on 01 April 2026, airing weekdays from 09:00 to 12:00.
