Gail Mabalane Marks 2 Decades Since Her Brother’s Passing With A Heartfelt Tribute

Gail Mabalane Marks 2 Decades Since Her Brother’s Passing With A Heartfelt Tribute. It has been 20 years since Gail Mabalane’s brother passed away. She has taken to social media to remember him, in a touching tribute.
Gail is one person who has experienced the deaths of loved ones. She lost her mother, Julie, and her older brother, Craig, in 2006. What was even more sad was that the deaths were six months apart. Gail then lost her father shortly after her wedding to Kabelo Mabalane in 2013. A month ago, she remembered her other, as the world celebrated Mother’s Day.
Today, the multi-award winning actress is remembering Craig. In a heartfelt post, Gail shares the beautiful relationship they had before his untimely passing. She also expressed how much she misses him, and wonders how life would have been with him around.
“Twenty years ago, my life changed forever.
My first best friend.
My first hero.
The first boy I ever loved. 🤗
Brother, you were the measure of so much that would follow in my life. Before I knew anything of the world, I knew your love. In your kindness, I learned gentleness. In your protection, I learned safety. In the way you loved me, I learned my worth. You treated me like a queen long before I understood what that meant.
Two decades later, I still find myself wondering about the life we were meant to have with you in it. The conversations we never had, your niece and nephews you never got to meet, the memories we never made, the laughter that should have echoed through our family for years to come.
Your absence has been felt in every chapter.
The enemy may have stolen your presence, but he could never steal your impact. Your warmth still lingers. Your grace still inspires. Your laughter still echoes in the stories we tell. Your love still lives in the hearts you touched. Time has softened some things, but not our love for you. Not our longing for you.
Twenty years later, we still carry you with us…in quiet moments, in cherished memories, in the spaces where your name is spoken with a smile and a tear. You are woven into who we are.
Forever missed.
Forever loved.
Forever remembered.
❤️,” Gail said.
