Masechaba Mposwa Resigns From Newzroom Afrika’s Weekend Report With Immediate Effect. Thursday evening, Masechaba Mposwa made a major career announcement. The renowned media personality, actress and musician shared an official statement where she announced her resignation from her job as an anchor on the Weekend Report. This is a news show which airs Every Saturday and Sunday morning.
Masechaba joined the news channel in March 2024, and for two years she has been cruising nicely with them. A month ago, she gushed over her job, stating that she wakes up at 3 am on weekends. Masechaba also added that she does not see the early mornings, the long nights and the quiet sacrifices as punishment. For her they are preparation to serve in excellence.
Through the show Masechaba also built a family. There are loyal viewers who are always tuned to support their favorite. As she steps down from the programme, Masechaba is grateful for every viewer and supporter for making the show what it is. She however did not share her reasons for leaving, neither did she reveal her next plans.
