Enhle Mbali Shares A Fire Throwback to Celebrate Her Growth. The only time we should look behind, is when we appreciate how far we have come. Enhle Mbali has just done that by taking us back to the time she was just a 22-year-old young woman growing in the industry.
Enhle has been in the industry for over two decades, starting as an actress and later venturing in the fashion industry. She landed her first role onMtunzini.com as hit series that aired from 2006 to 2009. Her breakthrough role however was on the hit series, Tshisa, where she played the character, Precious. Although young, Precious and her love interest Bafana, were the ultimate TV power couple. The role opened doors to roles on numerous South African leading dramas.
Since her Tshisa days, Enhle has been cast on numerous drama series, soapies and films. Some of her shows include iNkaba, Moferefere Lenyalong, Soul City, Sokhulu and Partners, Rhythm City, Rockville, 7de Laan, Broken Vows, The Heard and Isibaya.
In 2018, she was cast as the lead actress for the short film Lace. The film won Best Film, Audience Favourite, Best Actor, Best Writing, Best Directing, and Best Special Effects for the 48 Hour Film Project in Johannesburg. The film went on to compete at Filmapalooza 2019 in Orlando, Florida earning Enhle an international Best Actress Award.
Now looking back, Enhle is proud of how her younger self did in the industry. She is even more determined to grow in her craft
