Enhle Mbali Celebrates 20 Years in the Industry By Sharing A Snippet of Her Breakthrough Role. Talk about consistency! Enhle Mbali has been in the game for a whole tow decades, and she is still kicking it. She is talented, relevant, and constantly reinvents herself, to go with the times.
As an actress, Enhle landed her first role on Mtunzini.com. The hit series aired from 2006 – 2009. Her breakthrough role however was on the hit series, Tshisa, playing Precious. Although young, she and her love interest Bafana, were the ultimate TV power couple. The role opened doors to roles on numerous South African leading dramas.
Enhle has just shared a cute clip of Precious of Bafana in action. She was 17 years then, but the acting was top notch. Captioning the clip, Enhle shared that her love for the arts has grown over the years, and she thrives on doing better.
“20 years in the industry and my love for the craft has grown, my constant push to better myself in my craft is constant. It no me just Gods journey for me. The sweet #Precious #Tshisa I was 17,” she said.
Since her Tshisa days, Enhle has been cast on numerous drama series, soapies and films. Some of her shows include iNkaba, Moferefere Lenyalong, Soul City, Sokhulu and Partners, Rhythm City, Rockville, 7de Laan, Broken Vows, The Heard and Isibaya.
In 2018, she was cast as the lead actress for the short film Lace. The film won Best Film, Audience Favourite, Best Actor, Best Writing, Best Directing, and Best Special Effects for the 48 Hour Film Project in Johannesburg. The film went on to compete at Filmapalooza 2019 in Orlando, Florida earning Enhle an international Best Actress Award.
