Lawredo Uses His Big Brother Mzansi Fame to Market His Gin and Vodka Brands

Lawredo Uses His Big Brother Mzansi Fame to Market His Gin and Vodka Brands. Talk about a smart move! Many get in the Big Brother Mzansi house for fame and opportunities in the entertainment industry. Lawredo on the other hand is using the fame he got in the house to market his liquor brands.

Of course Lawredo is also an aspiring creative. He is a model, and has done quite a number of gigs. TV is also one of his interests, which explains why he joined Big Brother. Besides the show, Lawredo has also done some ads and appeared on music videos.

Hi everyone ❤️.”

I’m reaching out with humility and hope. Please share this post so it can reach the right people🙏🙏🙏🙏.

Modelling and television have always been close to my heart. I applied for Big Brother and was fortunate enough to be selected, many people don’t know that for the past 10 years I’ve been trying to build a career in TV as an actor and presenter. I’ve appeared on many well known shows, ads and music videos, mostly as an extra, which meant working consistently but remaining largely unknown,” Lawredo said.

He is also an entrepreneur with his own alcohol brands in the market. Lawredo is the man behind Preside Gin and Mokala Vodka. With all the financial difficulties he encountered running the business, Lawredo hopes that more doors will open for him to run the business effectively.

Alongside that journey, I’ve spent the past four years building my liquor brands, Preside Gin and Mokala Vodka. Owning a liquor brand without financial backing is extremely challenging. Licensing, compliance, production, and distribution require a lot of capital.

Despite that, I managed to complete all the required consumption testing, pay for my A-number annually, and place my products on the shelves of retailers like Pick ’n Pay Liquor (in Mahikeng the crossing shopping centre) and Blue Bottle Liquor (in Megacity). However, my growth has been limited because I often run out of stock and I don’t have a national distribution license.”

The reality is that my business also supports my everyday life. I rely on it to survive — to pay my rent, buy food, clothe myself, and take care of basic needs. This makes it very difficult to reinvest enough into the business for it to grow to the level I know it can reach.”

I’ve stayed consistent even through moments when I had no stock at all. I truly believe in these brands and in what they can become.”

Today, I’m hoping that my visibility after Big Brother can open doors that were previously closed. If you know someone with a distribution license, a distillery, or the capacity to partner or invest, please help connect us. Please help me make my brands to be available in all liquor outlets in South Africa 🙏🙏🙏.”

My ultimate dream is to build my own distillery in Kuruman, create jobs, and give back to my hometown.”

NB: Im currently out of stock but trying to sort it out❤️.”

Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting my journey ❤️.”
