For Her Birthday Celebration Luyanda Zuma and Industry Peers Get Together to Motivate Unseen Talent. There is so much more to the creative industry than what is shown on TV. A lot of entertainers are in the streets showing off their craft, but sadly, they hardly ever get recognized.
Luyanda Zuma has extended the most heartwarming gesture to such kind of individuals. The Miss SA 2025 1st runner-up and actress, spent her birthday with some guys show are always by the traffic lights dancing with crates. They ate at some restaurant and had meaningful discussion. This is in line with her Miss South Africa mission, of uplifting creatives. Luyanda also invited through her cast mates from Shaka iLembe, Lemogang Tsipa and Zamani Mbatha to give the boys some much needed guidance.
“Spent my birthday a little differently this year , sharing the day with a group of young boys I’ve always admired from afar. I’d watch them dance at the traffic lights with their crates, using their art not just as expression, but as a way to earn an income and navigate circumstances many of us never have to face.
Many of them have grown up outside the usual pathways of opportunity, but their dreams are big, their passion is real, and their potential is powerful.
As part of my commitment to empowering the boy child and uplifting our creative economy, I brought in two mentors to pour into them, guide them, and show them that their dreams are valid and achievable.
