The talented actress and beauty queen is on to more other life changing aspects of her career. Luyanda has been nominated for Best Newcomer award at the upcoming National Film & TV Awards South Africa. The award is aimed at celebrating the rising stars whose talent, passion, and performances are shaping the next generation of storytelling. In the category, Luyanda is nominated for her role as Liyana on Shaka iLembe. Also in the category are, Janru Steenkamp, Aphiwe Mkefe, Alizwa Sikhafungana, Yeya Ralarala, Thandolwethu Zondi Amogelang Telekelo and Lebohang Lephatsoana.
