He was also a great father, a loving grandfather of nine, and visionary founder of the his firm, Foxton Communicating. The firm set new standards in the communication sector, as it was innovative and committed to ethical, transparent and effective communication.

Since his passing, Madonsela has been using every opportunity to pay tribute to the late. The former Public Protector, often remembers Mr Foxton, each and every month on the day he passed. In September, she held an intimate celebration on what would have been his 83rd birthday. Friends and family gathered around to support Madonsela as she honoured her late husband.

Today marks 5 months since the lifequake unleashed on my life by the sudden passing of my life partner – the love of my life who also avowed me as the love of his life, yet sometimes it still feels like a nightmare that I will wake up from. #Transcendinggrief #Grief,” Madonsela said.
