Professor Thuli Madonsela Celebrates Her Late Husband In What Would Have Been His 83rd Birthday. It has been over two months since the passing of Richard Foxton. The pain still cuts deep for his loved ones, as they process their grief.
Richard Edward Foxton, affectionately known as Dick or โMr Foxtonโ, passed away in June, at the age of 82, peacefully in his bed. Mr Foxton was remembered as a beloved husband to her now widowed wife Professor Thuli Madonsela. He was also a great father, a loving grandfather of nine, and visionary founder of the his firm, Foxton Communicating. The firm set new standards in the communication sector, as it was innovative and committed to ethical, transparent and effective communication.
Since her husband’s passing, Professor Madonsela has been paying heartfelt tributes to him on X. The former Public Protector, has also been opening up about her raw grief. A month after Mr Foxton’s passing, the family lit a candle, and sang a song that described the kind of life her lived. Thuli, then expressed gratitude for the support she has been getting. Just a few weeks back, Thuli once again took to social media to remember her late husband.
Today is another day, significant to the family. This would have been Mr Foxton’s family, and he is still being celebrated nonetheless. A birthday celebration is being held in his honor, since he loved such occasions. Thuli posted a birthday cake, as well as a picture of her and Mr Foxton, adding a heartwarming caption.
