Her birthday was in June, but hey, right in the middle of November she comes to social media with what looks like a birthday party.
This was not a typical birthday celebration, except for Lamiez and her friends doing the trending ‘I’m not the birthday girl’ challenge. It was funny how they did the challenges, with Lamiez coming at last, stating she is the birthday girl. Among those were Lamiez’s best friend, The Funny Chef as well as media personality and comedian Sipho Alphi Mkhwanazi.
It goes without saying that the event was not a birthday celebration, the lot just seized the moment to lighten up social media. For starters the board at the entrance is clearly written, ‘Welcome to Nhlawulo Wa Lamiez’. In Zulu culture, inhlawulo refers to damages paid to the family of a woman who became pregnant out of wedlock by the father of the future child. Also, we know how celebs celebrate their birthday parties, they go all out with dinners, cakes, themes, dress codes and all of that. This celebration was beautiful, but it gave more of traditional celebration vibes. Whatever the case, fun was had by the lot.
