Applications Open for the Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation EmpoweringHER Awards Competition. The Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation, in partnership with the Hollywood Foundation, proudly invites female entrepreneurs to apply for the EmpoweringHER Seminar and Business Awards 2025. This is a celebration of women who are building, leading, and transforming businesses across South Africa.
Now in its 5th year, the EmpoweringHER Awards continue to honour a collective of extraordinary women who are colouring the world with vibrancy, vision, and impact. If you are a bold entrepreneur making waves in your community or industry, this is your moment to shine.
Who Can Apply
We are calling on female entrepreneurs who embody innovation, resilience, and purpose. To qualify, your business must meet the following criteria:
- Must be 100% female-owned
- Must have CIPC registration documentation and a valid tax certificate
- Business must be in operation for at least 12 months
- Submit a business plan or a clear description of your company’s nature and activities
- Upload a video (maximum 1 minute) showcasing your business and its impact so far
