MasterChef SA Judge Katlego Mlambo and His Partner Expecting A Baby. Another celebrity baby is on the way. Katlego Mlambo recently announced that he and his partner Esther, are going to have a baby. He took to social media, showing off Esther’s growing baby bump.
“SOON TO BE THREE…..OVER THE MOON 🌝,” Katlego said.
After that, the award winning chef and TV personality did a follow up video, thanking everyone who congratulated them. Katlego also shared his excitement on this journey, more so since they are getting all the support they need.

Chef Katlego’s culinary journey began in his childhood, where he was surrounded by a profound love for food. He credits his early mentors, his grandmother, mother, and two aunts, for sparking his passion for cooking. He then received his training at Silwood School of Cookery, in Cape Town.
Katlego has sought opportunities to refine his skills in renowned restaurants worldwide. He has explored the Great Britain and the United States, among other international countries. Through this Katlego thus absorbed the diverse food flavours of these regions, improving his culinary repertoire.
In 2024, he joined Zola Nene and Justine Drake on the judging panel of MasterChef SA Season 5. He is back again with the reality cooking competition, for it’s coming season. With a baby on the way, we can’t wait to see Katlego explore with dishes more appropriate for kids.
