You’ve Been With Me and You Always Will Be,” Lynn Forbes Marks Over 2 and a Half Years of AKA’s Passing. No matter how much time passes, the death of a loved one is something one can get used to. Since Kiernan AKA Forbe‘s untimely passing, it hasn’t been easy for his loved ones, family, friends, and fans at large.

AKA was shot dead on 10 February 2023, outside a restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. The multi-award winning rapper, TV personality and entrepreneur was gunned down together with his close friend, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. The pair are thought to have been on their way to a nightclub for a performance as part of AKA’s birthday celebrations when they were shot.

For his mom, Lynn Forbes, this has been the most trying experience. She has done a dozen of interview to speak about her son. Lynn has also attended awards ceremonies that honored her son, constantly posts about him, visits his grave, and even go to the places AKA loved. But still, the fact that her son is no more, breaks Lynn’s heart.

The podcaster just took to her social media platforms to share with fans how long AKA has been dead. Lynn added that this is how long her life has changed. Despite the grief, she is always carrying her son all the time.

“133 Fridays.
930 days.
30 months.
2 years, 6 months, 3 weeks.

That’s how long it’s been since my world changed forever.

Every single one of those days, weeks, months, and years… you’ve been with me and you always will be, because my grief carries your name … Kiernan

Always in my heart
