Nonku Williams Releases A Statement Regarding Her Friendship With Jojo Robinson. When it comes to Joku, no one anticipated we will ever be here. This was one of the most solid celebrities friendships ever. Seeing it fall apart had many shocked, and their fans hurt.
Having met on Season II of the Real Housewives of Durban, Nonku Williams and Jojo Williams became an inseparable pair. They celebrated each other, defended each other in front of critics, rocked coordinated outfits, attended events together among other things. Nonku and Jojo’s friendship went beyond the reality show, outside of the cameras, they were also tight. Their sons also spent time together, creating a cute bond. In 2023, Joku was nominated for a Drama Queen of the Year Award at the Feather Awards
Sadly, Nonku and Jojo, are no longer the tight duo that fans came to love. They drifted apart on RHOD season 5, with Nonku sharing to Londie London and Sorisha Naidoo that what she had with Jojo was just for the show. This broke Jojo, who cried during the reunion, after finding this out. Jojo then poured her heart out recently on an Instagram post addressing the status of their friendship. She valued what they had, and expressed gratitude over their bond. Jojo also said that she forgives Nonku, and asked her to do the same to her. She also wished her the best in life, as they take different direction. Jojo ended her note with an apology to their fans, who have supported them from the get go.
Nonku has also penned a statement, addressing what she call misunderstandings about their friendship. According to Nonku, she never meant for it to appear like she didn’t value Jojo, it was just that, she as grown spiritually, and does things differently. Nonku still holds Jojo in the highest regard, and the two have agreed to meet soon to discuss their relationship.
