“I Hope One Day We Get to Talk Again In Person,” Jojo Robinson Pens An Open Letter to Nonku Williams. This is one friendship that many never thought would come to an end. Nonku Williams and Jojo Robinson gave us Joku, a tight friendship. They met on season II the Real Housewives of Durban, and went on to have something solid outside of the show.
Jojo and Nonku did almost everything together. They attended events as a duo, rocked coordinated outfits, drove almost similar cars, celebrated each other’s wins, hyped each other and defended each other against critics. In 2023, Joku was nominated for a Drama Queen of the Year Award at the Feather Awards. This goes on to show that their friendship was seen as something solid and strong.
Sadly even good things come to an end, and so has Joku. Nonku and Jojo, are no longer the tight duo that their fans came to love. They drifted apart on RHOD season 5, with Jojo becoming close to some other ladies on the show. Nonku has also moved on, and is best friends with reality show star and entrepreneur Beverley Steyn. She also shared to Londie London and Sorisha Naidoo that what se had with Jojo was just for the show. This broke Jojo, who cried during the reunion, after finding this out.
Taking to her Instagram, Jojo poured her heart out, addressing Nonku. She stated what the friendship meant to her, and expressed gratitude over what they had. Jojo also said that she forgive Nonku, and asked her to do the same to her. She also wished her the best in life, as they take different direction. Jojo ended her note with an apology to their fans, who have supported them from the get go.

I loved every second we spent together and I’m forever grateful for the friendship we shared and the fact that you were a big part of my journey in this life. ♥️ I understand that you are going in a different direction and I hope one day we get to talk again in person. I’m grateful for what you meant in this life to me and I will always remember that regardless of what happened we always had each other and now maybe it is time for us to start our journey and just Nonku and Jojo not Joku anymore.
