Actress Nompumelelo Vilakazi Celebrates Buying Her First Car. When grace locates you, it definitely breaks protocol. Just a couple of months ago, Nompumelelo Vilakazi was crossing fingers for new acting gigs after her Diep City bit break. Now she is here, sharing great news every now and then.
The award winning actress and professional teacher, made a name for herself after being cast as Snenhlanhla on Diep City. The character was that of a struggling single mother who tried by all means to feed her family. Sne had kids at a very young age, and suffered abuse at the hand of their father. She had a small business, but her main source of income was in criminal activities. This role saw Nompumelelo walk away with The Best Newcomer Award at the 2021 Royalty Soapie awards. She also scooped the Best Newcomer Actress award during the ninth Simon “Mabhunu” Sabela KZN Film and Television Awards
Nompumelelo recently bagged her second role playing Senzeni Mhlongo- Shange on Is’ Thembu Sika Msongelwa. The three-part comedy series follows, Msongelwa, a polygamous taxi boss who reconnects with his high school sweetheart but his three wives are far from happy about his new love affair.
Besides her gigs, Nompumelelo sustains herself with teaching. She is back full time in the profession, and always shares cool content about it. Through her hustles, Nompumelelo has just bough herself a brand new car. She took to Instagram to show off the achievement, making her fans and followers all proud.
