Unathi Announces the Death of Her Father. When a lot of people were getting excited for the new year, the Nkayi household, was dealt a heavy blow. The family head Sakhiwo M Nkayi sadly passed away and the family is in mourning.
The news of his passing was announced publicly by his daughter, Unathi Nkayi. Taking to social media the celebrated media personality and musician descried her late father as a true treasurer, a great father, a beloved friend and uncle to many. He leaves behind his dear wife, his three kids, grand kids, and many beloved relatives and friends.
“It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved father – Sakhiwo M Nkayi.
A true treasure to us all, a great father, beloved friend & uncle to many.
He now joins his lineage at their final resting place.
We appreciate your love & support during this tough time,” Unathi said.
Unathi is quite big on family, and loves his parents to bits. She always speaks highly of the bond that they share. Speaking about her father on his birthday back in June, she said he was her spiritual twin and moral compass. “When you get annoyed with my feistiness, know that it is because of my fellow Scorpio who raised me to be like this,” she said.
