The beauty queen has been using her social media pages to put herself out there in the competition. A month ago, Gaelae asked fellow South Africans to help her get a spot on the Top 15. All they had to to was get into the Mrs. World website, and like her photo, the more likes she got, the more chances of her advancing.
Gaelae’s win is an iconic one, due to the fact that she has made history by becoming the first ever black woman to clinch the Mrs. World title since its inception 40 years back. She is the second South African to be crowned Mrs. World.
