Applications Open for the Tracker System Support Learnership Programme 2025. Tracker Connect is offering the opportunity of a lifetime to 8 of South Africa’s young people with great potential. This is through a System Support Learnership Programme NQF Level 5 which will be based at Tracker Head Office in Johannesburg, to start 01 February 2025.
Purpose
- To capacitate young unemployed youth with IT skills, experience and knowledge required to deliver excellent service.
Key Outputs:
This learning intervention is a full qualification which consists of structured unit standard-based learning combined with practical/workplace experience which totals to 147 credits. After having gone through the qualification the young people will be equipped with the following competencies:
- Ability to use logical methodology to troubleshoot the common types of hardware and software problems typically encountered in the day-to-day operations of an organization.
- Ability to understand the role of technology in the business context.
- Ability to create integrated technology-based communication systems for improved business effectiveness.
- Ability to store, manage and retrieve knowledge (data) efficiently and effectively to meet organizational requirements.
- Ability to ensure secure information systems that will serve to protect the business from data loss and breaches of integrity.
- Ability to design and reflect business structure in IT Systems appropriately in order to optimize operating efficiencies, flows of data and resource utilization within the structure.
- Ability to mobilize technical and technology-based resources to solve business problems in a specified context.
- Ability to perform cost effectively and efficiently in technology-based projects.
- Ability to manage customer relations appropriately.
- Ability to operate effectively within a change, release and configuration process.
- Ability to utilize technology-based research tools and knowledge-base repositories.
- Ability to identify and communicate business opportunities appropriately.
- Ability to install, support and maintain end-user applications
Requirements:
- Be a South African Citizen in possession of a valid SA ID
- Ages between 18 and 35 with no Criminal Record
- Matric and a Technical Support NQF level 4 qualification or equivalent
- Currently be unemployed
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail orientation
- Desire and potential to learn
- The ability to cope with a constant changing and pressurized environment
- The ability to work in an environment where multi skilling is required
- Basic computer skills
