Most people know his story as a former star and now a recovering drug addict. The former Zone 14 and Yizo Yizo actor has been missing in action, because of his drug addiction. The drug addiction cost Innocent his wife, large sums of money, property, assets, lucrative career opportunities as well as good friends in the industry and society. To get his life in order, Innocent went for rehabilitation, and has since been clean.

For some time, he has been talking about his desires to be back in the game. Innocent did a couple of interviews on podcasts, radio stations and magazine, to put himself out there. Sadly for him, opportunities have not been presenting themselves, but he kept on pushing nonetheless. Finally, Moja Love TV channel has come to his rescue, with a great presenting gig. Innocent is the presenter of an upcoming show on the channel called, Buyela Ekhaya. The news show focuses on helping homeless people return to their homes.
