Law, Love and Betrayal follows a tough township lawyer, Gugu Mabaso who would do anything to be at the top. She forces her way into a slick, family-owned firm in Sandton, where she finds that everyone has secrets, just like her. The character is played by, Dineo Rasedile, the actress’s first lead role.
Nimrod Nkosi and Pearl Modiadie star as the Gumedes, the family fighting over behind Gumede & Associates. Nimrod, a renowned TV presenter and actor plays Gatsha Gumede, the founder of Gumede & Associates, where a succession battle is brewing. Pearl plays Ayanda Gumede-Williams, Gatsha’s ambitious, cutthroat daughter, one of the most brilliant lawyers at the firm.
The 13-episode legal drama moves between Tembisa and Sandton. Created by executive producer Thandi Ramathesele, produced by Izwi Multimedia and directed by Nthabiseng Tau, Nthabiseng Mokoena and Christo Davids.
